(2024/2) Assistant Professor Teruyo Ojima-Kato received the “Research Encouragement Award” at the 25th Symposium on Enzyme Application (details here). The title of the award is "Development of Translation Enhancement Technology and its Application to Protein Production and Functional Evaluation." The 25th Symposium on Enzyme Application will be held on June 21 (Fri.) at Charity Hall (Kitanagoya City), Amano Enzyme Co.
(2024/3/24)Associate Professor Jasmina Damnjanovic received the "Young Female Researcher Award in Agricultural Chemistry" at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Agricultural Chemistry. The title of the award is "Enzyme Science and Engineering Research for Practical Application of Industrial Enzyme Groups."
(2024/3/24)Assistant Professor Teruyo Ojima-Kato received the "Award for Encouragement of Agricultural Chemistry" at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the JSBBA. The award ceremony and the award lecture were held at Setagaya Campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture.

(2023/10/11)Assistant Professor Teruyo Ojima-Kato was awarded by Japan Bioindustry Association. The title of the award is "Research on translation enhancing peptide tags". The research award ceremony was held at the BioJapan event (Yokohama) on 11th October.
(2023/10/05) The Chubu companies' encouragement award was given to Misato TSUDA (B4) at the JSBBA Chubu and Kansai sectors' joint conference held at Tsu. The title of the presentation is "Validation of new translation-enhancing peptide sequences discovered by cDNA display methods".
(2023/09/14) The student best presentation award was given to Beixi JIA (D2) and Rikuto TAKAI (M1) in the 75th annual meeting of the scociety for Biotechnology, Japanese held at Nagoya. The titles of the presenation are "The development of epitope mapping utilizing PURE ribosome display and NGS" by JIA, and "Development of a translation-enhancing nascent peptide sequence discovery technique using cDNA display methodology" by TAKAI.

(2023/01/31) Assistant Professor Teruyo Ojima-Kato was awarded by Aichi prefucture. The title of the award is "Development of technology for producing multifunctional antibodies using microorganisms."
(2022/05/20) Dr. Jasmina Damnjanovic was featured in an article dedicated to COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) for Biotechnology Program at North Carolina State University for her contribution to COIL collaboration with Dr. Stefanie Chen and Dr. Melissa Srougi, instructors for Biotechnology Program at North Carolina State University. The collaboration included two shared courses, with students from two universities interacting at multiple levels (joint projects, evaluations, joint lectures, joint workshops). Besides Dr. Damnjanovic, the COIL team at Nagoya University included Dr. Joyce Cartagena and Dr. Andres Maturana.
